MOUNT PINATUBO located in ZAMBALES has created one of the biggest natural destructions in Philippine History and in the World. The Volcano erupted from July 1990 to June 15, 1991 and formed Ash-falls from Northern Luzon up to Northern Visayas for months, raising Death Tolls from Ash-floods, closing roads and disrupting land, air and sea travels in the area of the Northern Philippines. And that is Nature’s Destructive and unparalleled power and it can’t be stopped.
However, after 20 years, Mount Pinatubo is considered as one of the most recommended Tourist spots in Central Luzon where locals are already earning from the ruins of gray ashes…
My Voyage to the top of Mount Pinatubo is one of my most memorable adventures because I endured a lot but it was all worth it. From a 2 hour 4x4 jeep ride, I will trek another 2 hours through strong rivers, large rocks and enormous ash formations just to see the grand scenic view of its Crater… I guarantee that all the pains, soreness, blisters and wounds are all going to be worth it. Once you’ve seen its astonishing Crater, you just can’t help but say “WOW!”… As I arrived down to its crater side, I jumped and swam right away to its Crystal Blue Water where it’s freezing cold. It’s a 320 feet depression so you must bring life-vests if you don’t know how to swim. I rented a boat to go to the other side of the Crater where the water is a little warmer and I boiled an egg there using only the warm sand of the Sleeping Volcano.
The weather all day was cloudy and windy and that’s a good thing because if the weather is sunny and hot, I would be toasted and dehydrated which is more punishment for me.
As I was riding the 4x4 jeepney, I am passing to villages where the Aeta’s live, I just can’t help but wonder that they were the original Filipino blood and yet they seemed to be the ones who are like Foreigners to the place they first discovered. They are like outcasts to the Filipino Society. They have no access to Medical services, their homes are just made of dried leaves of mountain plants and they don’t have enough nutrition especially the kids. I want to leave that sad picture to you and hope in the future, you could help me do something about helping out our True Ancestors which are the Aetas…

My Ally,
ReplyDeleteI just want to say that I love you and thank you for all the love and happiness you've brought to me. You know how hard things have been for me and I know you have been through the same thing, but when I found you I knew I wasn't alone and I did not feel alone anymore. You were there for me when no one else was or when no one else understood. That means more to me than anything, My Ally. I am so lucky that I fell in love with such an amazing person like you. I love you.
Your happiness means everything to me. I love you more than you could possibly know and my love keeps growing every time I see you struggling to make me happy. I love you, My Ally, now and always.
ReplyDeleteMy Ally,
ReplyDeleteThere is so much I would like to say to you, to tell you what you mean to me... but the words don't ever come.
You have the most amazing way of showing me how much you care; you share things with me that I couldn't share with anyone else. And through everything we have gone through, all I have to do is lean on you and know my heart and soul are safe.
There have been a few speed bumps in our road, but we always stay hand in hand, heart to heart and soul to soul.
I never knew love until you; I can't imagine life without you. You are my everything and I am so blessed with your love and devotion.
I love you, My Ally, more than I can ever tell you. There are no words for the love I have. It is yours, always and forever, eternity and beyond. Happy Monthsary to both of US..
My heart is yours.
Love always,
Slapy
